Usage guide
What should you use a watermark for?
Text like “DRAFT”, “SAMPLE”, or a company name makes it harder to pass off a copied document as final. An image watermark is suited for lightly showing a brand logo throughout the pages.
Keeping opacity too low hurts readability; too high makes the watermark ineffective. Choose a balanced opacity using the preview.
Privacy and limitations
A watermark doesn't permanently hide sensitive information — it only adds a visible layer. Don't rely on a watermark for redaction or censoring.
Text and logo aren't added at the same time. If you want both, run the process twice, or use the “Add Logo to PDF” tool for the logo alone.
