Usage guide
Cleaning up margins
Black bands at scan edges or excess whitespace can ruin printing. Roughly selecting with the visual handles, then fine-tuning with the millimeter fields, is the most controlled approach.
Applying the same crop to every page keeps a consistent look. If only a few pages are problematic, use the selected-pages mode instead.
Don't use it for redaction
Cropping may not safely remove sensitive content that ends up outside the visible page — don't treat cropping as a way to redact information.
Page orientation and any existing rotation are taken into account, so the crop box is applied correctly even in documents mixing portrait and landscape pages.
